A Rusty Lee Rock N Roll Bed is a premium seating and sleeping system designed for VW Buses and Vanagons. It gives you a practical bench seat by day and a comfortable bed by night. These benches will fit in all Vanagons and Buses. They are available in 3/4 Width and Full Width.

3/4 width beds are designed for Buses and Vanagons that were originally intended for camping, and that have cabinets. Full width beds were designed for Buses and Vanagons that were originally intended as passenger vehicles and are now being converted to campers. These vehicles do not have cabinets.

Unfortunately, there will still be some work once you receive the bed to finish the upholstery. The frame cannot be installed into your vehicle after being fully upholstered. Your cushion will be upholstered onto the wood frame, and will just need to be screwed to the frame once installed. The backrest will require a bit more work. The wood will need to be screwed to the frame, the foam glued to the wood, and the cover slipped over the top and attached with velcro at the bottom.

Rusty Lee Beds are a significantly more stable product than any other rear Z bed that is currently available on the market. The beds are all hand made in the UK with precision. The lengths of these beds are one continuous piece, rather than mutliple that need to be assembled. This significantly increases the stability of the bed, while also increasing the costs for shipping.

Yes we can do that. Our website is not equipped to handle pricing for shipping outside of the continental US, so please contact our sales team for a shipping quote.

Delivery times can vary based on product availability, destination, and order volume. We recommend checking the product page or contacting us for the latest lead times. You will receive an email from UPS with tracking information when your order is shipped.

Our default option is for the beds to ship UPS. If you would rather them ship freight on a pallet, please let someone in our office know and we can get you a freight quote. This option does have a lower risk of damage in transit.

These beds are large and heavy items, and they are expensive to ship. If just a frame is ordered, then your frame can ship in one box, making the shipping significantly cheaper. Fully upholstered beds will ship in two separate boxes.

This is a very friendly DIY project. There are a few steps that will be very challenging without another person to help. Beyond that it should be very attainable for an average DIYer.
